- Lemon wedges – for serving
- 3 Tablespoon (45 ml) s melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic – minced
- 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) parsley – chopped
- 1/3 teaspoon (2 ml) dried red pepper flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon (1 ml) sea salt – only if using unsalted butter
- 1/6 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
Instructions
- Warm up the oven by setting it to broil at 500°F, ensuring the rack is positioned 5 inches below the top heating element.
- To prepare the lobster tails, use sharp kitchen scissors to carefully slice along the length of the shell, stopping short of the tail fin. Gently lift the meat out and position it over the shell. A spoon may assist in separating the meat if necessary.
- Prepare the garlic butter by mixing together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, sea salt, and black pepper. Generously coat the lobster meat with this mixture to keep it juicy and prevent it from drying during cooking. Consider making extra sauce to serve alongside the dish.
- Cook the lobster under the broiler until it is thoroughly done, which should take approximately 7 to 10 minutes, varying with size. The meat should appear firm, opaque, and white, with an internal temperature reaching between 140° and 145°F. Serve with lemon wedges for added flavor. Enjoy your meal!
