A rich and flavorful garlic butter sauce with a blend of spices that enhances the taste of seafood, perfect for crab legs and more.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter
- 2 heads Garlic, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 ½ tablespoons Paprika
- 1 ½ tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
- 1 ½ tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Oregano
- 1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Louisiana Hot Sauce
- ½ cup Fresh Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Begin by placing a large pot over medium-low heat. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt slowly.
- Once the butter reaches a liquid consistency, reduce the flame to its lowest setting. Add the minced garlic and all the spices.
- Stir the mixture gently but continuously for about 30 seconds until the aroma of the spices fills the kitchen.
- Slowly pour in the Louisiana hot sauce and the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir everything well to combine.
- Slightly increase the flame to bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and move the pot off the stove to cool down.
- Before serving, stir the sauce one last time and adjust any seasoning if needed.
Notes
Allow the sauce to rest after cooling for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to one week.
