Description

A delicious blend of Cajun-seasoned blackened shrimp and creamy stroganoff sauce over pasta, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
  • 8 ounces of pasta (fettuccine or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of beef or chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until blackened and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, mixing until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Use a cast-iron skillet for optimal results. Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less heat.
