A delicious blend of Cajun-seasoned blackened shrimp and creamy stroganoff sauce over pasta, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
- 8 ounces of pasta (fettuccine or your choice)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of beef or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until blackened and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Stir in the heavy cream, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, mixing until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Use a cast-iron skillet for optimal results. Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less heat.
