Ingredients
- 2 Salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp Taco seasoning
- 4 Corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup Cabbage (shredded, for slaw)
- 1/2 cup Carrots (shredded, for slaw)
- 1/4 cup Cilantro (chopped, for slaw)
- 1 tbsp Lime juice (for slaw)
- 1 Avocado (mashed)
- 1/4 cup Pickled onions
- 2 tbsp Chipotle sauce
- 2 tbsp Cream
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets with taco seasoning.
- Cook the salmon in a skillet over medium-high heat until blackened and cooked through.
- In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and lime juice to make the citrus-infused slaw.
- Mash the avocado and season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble tacos by placing blackened salmon in the tortillas, topping with slaw, mashed avocado, pickled onions, and drizzling with chipotle sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Allow the salmon to rest for a couple of minutes after cooking to keep it moist. Experiment with additional toppings like fresh jalapeños or crumbled queso.
