Ingredients
- 4 (6 ounce) skin-on salmon filets
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 5 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, parsley, black pepper, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, salt, and cumin.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the salmon filets.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted and hot.
- Add the salmon filets to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 5-6 minutes.
- Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through and blackened.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon before serving.
