Description

A flavorful blackened salmon dish featuring spices and creamy garlic spinach, perfect for impressing family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for salmon)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for shrimp)
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rub salmon fillets with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear the salmon fillets in a hot pan for 3–4 minutes per side until crispy outside and flaky inside.
  3. In the same pan, heat olive oil and season shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Sauté until shrimp turns pink and juicy.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring in parmesan until thick and creamy.
  6. Plate the salmon, spoon over the creamy garlic spinach, and top with sautéed shrimp.
  7. Spoon extra sauce around the base and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pat salmon dry before seasoning for a better crust. Adjust spices to suit preferences.
