Description

A flavorful blackened salmon recipe that combines spices for a bold and satisfying meal. Perfect for summer nights!


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and mix the spices in a small bowl.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  3. Rub the spice mixture generously on both sides of the salmon.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Add olive oil to the skillet.
  6. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until a blackened crust forms.
  7. Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving to lock in juices.
