Description

A delicious blackened salmon recipe with a smoky, crunchy crust and soft, flaky fish, perfect for any seafood lover.

Ingredients

  • Fresh salmon fillets
  • Avocado oil
  • Blackened seasoning (paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano)
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh vegetables or salad for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the blackened seasoning.
  3. Brush the salmon fillets with avocado oil and season both sides with salt, pepper, and the spice blend.
  4. Cook the salmon fillets in the hot skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and a smoky crust forms.
  5. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top before serving.
  6. Serve with a side of vegetables or a fresh salad.

Notes

Allow the seasoned salmon to rest for 15 minutes for better flavor absorption. A cast-iron skillet is recommended for even heat distribution.
