Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the salmon topped with the Dijon cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Use a cast-iron skillet for the best crust. Adjust the Cajun seasoning to taste, and consider other herbs for variation.
