- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked white rice for serving
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery, sautéing until they soften.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (if desired), Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 15 minutes.
