Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by trimming asparagus and mincing garlic.
- Bring a pot of salted water to boil for spaghetti.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about a minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Toss in asparagus and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Combine cooked spaghetti with the shrimp and asparagus in the skillet.
- Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice; toss to mix.
