Description
Juicy lobster tails are grilled to perfection and topped with a zesty lime butter sauce, creating a delightful centerpiece dish for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 2 tails of lobster tails (fresh or thawed)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of lime zest
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon of chili flakes (optional)
- 1 slice of lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Begin by preheating the grill or broiler to medium-high heat.
- Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top of the lobster tails shell, exposing the meat underneath.
- Brush the lobster with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chili flakes as desired.
- Place the lobster tails shell-side down on the grill or broiler rack. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes or until the meat turns opaque and firm.
- While the lobster cooks, melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add in minced garlic, lime juice, and lime zest, stirring until combined.
- Once the lobster tails are cooked, remove them from heat and immediately drizzle the lime butter over the meat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for an extra tang.
Notes
Choose heavy lobster tails for freshness and feel free to experiment with herbs in the lime butter.
