Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on recommended)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 lime or lemon, juiced
- Fresh herbs (such as cilantro or parsley), chopped
- Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or dried herbs for seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets skin-side down.
- Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily.
- While the salmon bakes, prepare the avocado mash by mashing the avocado with lime juice, salt, and chopped herbs in a bowl.
- Once the salmon is finished baking, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the salmon on a plate alongside a generous scoop of avocado mash.
