Description

A delightful baked salmon paired with creamy avocado mash, perfect for memorable gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on recommended)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 lime or lemon, juiced
  • Fresh herbs (such as cilantro or parsley), chopped
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or dried herbs for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets skin-side down.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily.
  5. While the salmon bakes, prepare the avocado mash by mashing the avocado with lime juice, salt, and chopped herbs in a bowl.
  6. Once the salmon is finished baking, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve the salmon on a plate alongside a generous scoop of avocado mash.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon before baking and use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect doneness.
