Description

A delightful and simple seafood dish featuring baked halibut topped with a flavorful herbed mayonnaise crust.


Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, parsley, dill, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Place the halibut fillets on a greased baking sheet.
  4. Spread the herbed mayonnaise mixture generously over each fillet. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
