Description

Deliciously crispy shrimp tacos with a refreshing slaw and a tangy bang bang sauce, perfect for gatherings or a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • Medium shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • Salt, to taste
  • Flour, for coating
  • Cornstarch, for coating
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Shredded carrot
  • Chopped spring onion
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Lime juice, to taste
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Mayonnaise
  • Whipping cream or regular cream
  • Honey mustard
  • Thai sweet chili sauce
  • Tortillas


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, coat the cleaned shrimp with flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Fry the shrimp in hot oil until crispy and golden brown.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, carrot, spring onion, sugar, lime juice, cilantro, mayonnaise, and whipping cream to create the slaw.
  4. To prepare the sauce, mix together mayonnaise and Thai sweet chili sauce.
  5. Warm the tortillas and assemble the tacos by placing fried shrimp on the tortilla, adding the slaw, and finally drizzling with the bang bang sauce.
