Ingredients
- 1 pound (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 g) black pepper
- 1 bag (10 oz (283 g) / 280 g) tortilla chips
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon s (30 ml) sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream
- 1/4 cup (25 g) chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup (25 g) chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup (35 g) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup (30 g) sliced jalapeños
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix shrimp with vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the chips.
- Distribute the cooked shrimp evenly over the cheese-covered chips.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, and sour cream to make the sriracha crema.
- Remove nachos from the oven and drizzle with the sriracha crema.
- Top the nachos with chopped green onions, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and sliced jalapeños.
- Serve immediately while the nachos are warm and enjoy.
