Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 g) black pepper
  • 1 bag (10 oz (283 g) / 280 g) tortilla chips
  • 1 cup (115 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (115 g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon s (30 ml) sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup (35 g) diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) sliced jalapeños


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix shrimp with vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the chips.
  7. Distribute the cooked shrimp evenly over the cheese-covered chips.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, and sour cream to make the sriracha crema.
  10. Remove nachos from the oven and drizzle with the sriracha crema.
  11. Top the nachos with chopped green onions, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and sliced jalapeños.
  12. Serve immediately while the nachos are warm and enjoy.
