Description

Deliciously seared salmon topped with a sweet and spicy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season each side with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Pour olive oil into the skillet and heat over medium-high.
  4. Place the salmon in the skillet, skin-side down for skin-on fillets. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Carefully flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until well combined.
  7. Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the cooked salmon, finishing with a sprinkle of chopped green onions.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the skillet for even cooking. You can use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version of the sauce.
