Description
Deliciously seared salmon topped with a sweet and spicy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
- 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Season each side with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Pour olive oil into the skillet and heat over medium-high.
- Place the salmon in the skillet, skin-side down for skin-on fillets. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until well combined.
- Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the cooked salmon, finishing with a sprinkle of chopped green onions.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the skillet for even cooking. You can use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version of the sauce.
