Description
Balsamic glazed salmon features tender fillets elevated with a rich, tangy glaze of balsamic vinegar and honey, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 small salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Crushed chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the balsamic vinegar and honey until fully combined, and set it aside.
- Lightly grease a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each of the four sides.
- Once beautifully golden brown, pour the balsamic glaze over the fillets.
- Lower the heat and carefully flip the salmon to coat all sides evenly while cooking it through.
- Cook until the glaze thickens and the salmon is cooked through, then serve immediately.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the salmon in the balsamic mixture for 30 minutes to an hour before cooking. Monitor the heat to prevent burning the glaze.
