Delicious grilled mushroom skewers marinated in balsamic vinegar and garlic, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds mushrooms, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari)
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate the sliced mushrooms in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat while preparing skewers.
- Thread the marinated mushrooms onto skewers evenly.
- Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes per side until tender and slightly charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and serve warm.
Notes
For best flavor, allow the mushrooms to marinate longer if time permits. Experiment with different herbs or add bell peppers for variety.
