Description

A comforting and flavorful baked salmon dish with a homemade teriyaki sauce that brings Asian cuisine to your table.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl to create the teriyaki sauce.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over them.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Consider marinating the salmon in the teriyaki sauce for up to 30 minutes before baking for enhanced flavor. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
