A simple yet satisfying baked salmon dish topped with a rich, garlic-infused mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh salmon fillet (skin on)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (slightly heaping)
- 8 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 5 oz fresh dill (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the salmon fillet by placing it skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix the slightly heaping mayonnaise, crushed garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Spread the garlic mayo mixture evenly over the salmon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
For a crispier texture, broil the salmon for the last few minutes of cooking. Allow the salmon to come to room temperature before baking for even cooking.
