A rich and zesty baked salmon dish topped with a creamy lemon butter sauce, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or dill
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle half of the minced garlic over the fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and add the remaining garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice and zest, then whisk in the heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Once the salmon is done, spoon the sauce over each fillet and garnish with chopped parsley or dill. Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with seasonal vegetables or a light salad for a well-rounded meal. Consider using wild-caught salmon for better flavor.
