Description

A rich and zesty baked salmon dish topped with a creamy lemon butter sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in a greased baking dish.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle half of the minced garlic over the fillets.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and add the remaining garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and zest, then whisk in the heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Once the salmon is done, spoon the sauce over each fillet and garnish with chopped parsley or dill. Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with seasonal vegetables or a light salad for a well-rounded meal. Consider using wild-caught salmon for better flavor.
