Description

Indulge in succulent baked lobster tails drizzled with rich lemon garlic butter, perfect for special occasions or intimate dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails (4-6 ounces each, thawed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Butterfly the lobster tails: using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the top shell to the tail. Gently separate the meat from the shell and lift it to rest on top of the shell. Arrange the tails on a baking sheet.
  3. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the exposed lobster meat on each tail.
  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. For extra color, broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  6. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes

Consider using a meat thermometer to check for doneness, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 140°F. Fresh ingredients significantly enhance flavor.
