Description

Delicious baked fish tacos made with flaky white fish and topped with fresh ingredients for a perfect coastal experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (tilapia or cod)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 small taco-sized corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup pico de gallo
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat the fish fillets with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing pieces of fish on each tortilla, then topping with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, sour cream, and fresh cilantro.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious fish tacos!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding lime juice or avocado as toppings. Properly seasoning and marinating the fish enhances flavor absorption.
