Crispy, golden baked cream cheese wontons filled with a creamy mixture and perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- Wonton wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Cooking spray or oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center.
- Fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, sealing the edges with a little water.
- Repeat the process for the remaining wrappers.
- Place the wontons on a baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray or brush with oil.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot as an appetizer or snack.
Notes
To enhance texture, consider sprinkling breadcrumbs on the wontons before baking.
