  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz or 115 g) mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz or 60 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz or 60 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (1 oz or 30 g) grated plant-based Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 g) black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise.
  3. Add the lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Gently fold in the lump crab meat.
  5. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  7. Smooth the top with a spatula for even cooking.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  10. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top, if using.
  11. Serve warm with bread, crackers, or chips.

Notes

  • Thoroughly drain the lump crab meat before mixing to avoid excess moisture.
  • Enhance flavor with Old Bay seasoning or hot sauce before baking.
  • Adjust salt amount based on cheese saltiness to prevent over-seasoning.
