Description

A simple yet flavorful baked Cajun salmon dish topped with creamy avocado and fresh lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Rub the olive oil over the fillets and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the salmon is baking, combine the diced avocado with lime juice, salt, and cilantro in a bowl.
  6. Once the salmon is done, top with the avocado mixture and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispy top, consider broiling the salmon briefly at the end of baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within two days.
