Description

A delightful dish featuring angel hair pasta, succulent shrimp, and vibrant asparagus, all infused with garlic for a perfect coastal culinary experience.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the pan and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add asparagus and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and red pepper flakes; bring to a simmer.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp and asparagus mixture.
  8. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a creamier dish, add a touch of heavy cream after the broth. Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor.
