Description

A delightful Asian glazed salmon recipe that balances sweet and savory flavors, making it a staple for both weeknight dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients listed above.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl until well combined to create the marinade.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Let sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb flavors.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place marinated salmon skin-side down on it.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the top before serving and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

For a twist, consider adding a splash of orange juice or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the marinade. Marinating longer will enhance flavors.
