  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup (30 milliliters)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cumin (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) smoked paprika (5 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt (2.5 grams)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper (1.25 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (15 milliliters)
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine apple cider, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Whisk the mixture until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade.
  4. Toss the shrimp until they are fully coated in the marinade.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
