Description

A quick and flavorful honey garlic salmon recipe made effortlessly in an air fryer, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets Salmon (fresh or fully thawed)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (or avocado oil)
  • 3 tablespoons Honey (maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce (low-sodium recommended)
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (or lime juice)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 2 wedges Lemon (or lime)
  • to taste Fresh Parsley (cilantro or green onions work too)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and optional garlic powder.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish, and pour marinade over them, coating evenly. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) while the salmon marinates.
  4. Brush salmon fillets with olive oil for added flavor and to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the marinated fillets in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork when done.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley, cilantro, or green onions.

Notes

For best results, marinate the salmon for up to an hour and consider using wild-caught salmon for enhanced flavor.
