A quick and flavorful honey garlic salmon recipe made effortlessly in an air fryer, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 fillets Salmon (fresh or fully thawed)
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (or avocado oil)
- 3 tablespoons Honey (maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce (low-sodium recommended)
- 2 cloves Minced Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (or lime juice)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional)
- 2 wedges Lemon (or lime)
- to taste Fresh Parsley (cilantro or green onions work too)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and optional garlic powder.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish, and pour marinade over them, coating evenly. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) while the salmon marinates.
- Brush salmon fillets with olive oil for added flavor and to prevent sticking.
- Place the marinated fillets in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork when done.
- Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley, cilantro, or green onions.
