Description

Crispy and flavorful air fryer fish fillets made with firm white fish and seasoned breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 pieces fish fillets (2 oz each) – firm white fish like cod, haddock, or tilapia
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs (use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or granules
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine paprika, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Toss the fish fillets in the spice mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Add the dry bread crumbs to a shallow dish and drizzle with olive oil. Mix well to coat the crumbs with oil.
  4. Dip each seasoned fish fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to ensure a thick coat.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the breaded fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Carefully remove the fish from the air fryer and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Ensure all fillets are of uniform size for even cooking. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
