Description

Delightfully crispy air fryer bang bang shrimp tacos served with a zesty slaw and creamy sauce, perfect for taco nights and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (optional)
  • Small flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage (for slaw)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (for slaw)
  • Juice of 1 lime (for slaw)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste (for slaw)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture, dip in olive oil, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha for the sauce.
  6. In another bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper for the slaw.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in the tortillas and topping with slaw and bang bang sauce.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy shrimp, make sure to dry them thoroughly before breading and do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
