Ingredients

  • 1 fillet salmon (6 oz) (170 g)
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (15 g)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (5 ml)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated (5 g)
  • 1 green onion, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven broiler to high.
  2. In a small bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Mix the ingredients until well combined to create the marinade.
  4. Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
  5. Spread the marinade evenly over the top of the salmon fillet.
  6. Place the baking sheet under the broiler about 6 inches from the heat source.
  7. Broil the salmon for 5 to 7 minutes, or until cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for 1 minute.
  9. Garnish the salmon with chopped green onion before serving.
