Description

A simple yet flavorful dish featuring fresh salmon glazed with zesty orange juice and honey, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon (skin on)
  • 1 orange (zest and juice)
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the juice from the two oranges, zest from one orange, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl. Whisk well to blend the flavors.
  3. Pour a few spoonfuls of the sauce onto the prepared baking sheet. Place the salmon skin-side up on the parchment and pour the remaining sauce over it.
  4. Bake for about 7 minutes. Carefully flip the salmon skin-side down and spoon some sauce over the top.
  5. Continue to bake for another 18-20 minutes, adjusting time based on the thickness of your salmon fillet.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven and serve it over rice or quinoa for a fulfilling meal.

Notes

For best results, check doneness with a fork; the salmon should easily flake apart.
