Description
A quick and easy recipe featuring salmon marinated in a tangy orange sauce made from fresh orange juice, honey, and soy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon (skin on)
- 1 orange (zest and juice from this orange)
- 1 additional orange (juice only)
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, folding up the edges to keep the sauce contained.
- Combine the juice from two oranges, zest from one orange, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl. Whisk everything well until combined.
- Pour a few spoonfuls of sauce onto the prepared baking pan. Place the salmon skin side up and pour the remaining sauce over the top.
- Bake for about 7 minutes and carefully flip the salmon skin-side down. Spoon some sauce over the top of the salmon.
- Continue baking for an additional 18-20 minutes, or until the salmon is done.
Notes
Serve over rice or quinoa for a nutritious meal. Adjust honey based on sweetness preference. Fresh ingredients make the biggest difference in flavor.
